HELLERUP, Denmark – August 12, 2025 – P-Secure, the security startup revolutionising background screening with automated security technology, has secured €3 million in funding. The investment will accelerate deployment of P-Secure's automated background screening software, developed by former Danish intelligence professionals to enhance security capabilities for critical infrastructure operators across Europe.

The round included backing from Final Frontier, the Nordic space and defence VC fund backed by former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, alongside Ugly Duckling Ventures and the Export and Investment Fund of Denmark (EIFO).

P-Secure's automated software directly addresses Europe's critical requirement for scalable security screening capabilities that operate with complete GDPR compliance, serving 80+ customers including Copenhagen Airport, SAS, and SAAB whilst maintaining 24/7 system availability.

“The idea is that once our customers use our software, they can conduct their own automated background checks in minutes instead of days,” says Co-founder and CEO of P-Secure, Lars Andreasen. “Furthermore, it is very important to note that the customers don’t have to outsource this sensitive process to a third party, and they themselves own the data,” he continues.
